Located in the Glass Mountains of the West Texas region, the original 'Old Blue Ranch', approximately 17,000 acres, was purchased in 1975. At that time, Parker and Parker Cattle Co. began their hunting and cattle operations. In 1986 a neighboring ranch, the ' Spicewood' went on the market. Needing more land both for the hunting and cattle, the decision was made to purchase it. The new ranch was a wonderful addition, in that it had more mountain country like the 'Old Blue'. Since the purchase, we have been able to acquire three additional adjacent ranches, bringing the total hunting and ranching to more than 55,000 acres. |
The terrain of all our property combined consists of about 50% mountains ranging from 4500 to 6300 feet in elevation. The other 50% is flat to rolling hills. Having this diversified landscape provides excellent habitat for the many different species of animals located here.
Our hunting lodge is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by Pinon Pines. It is a beautiful stucco, six bedroom, six bath house. The views from the front porch are truly spectacular. Here you will see breathtaking sunsets and be immersed in the tranquility that only Quartercircle7 can offer.
